Murder Mysteries – Solve the Case Together
A murder mystery from Sidewalk Mystery is an interactive gaming experience in which you work together to solve a murder. Depending on the game, you can either take on the roles of suspects and investigators or work as a group trying to solve a cold case.
The games combine mysteries, clues, secrets, and puzzles. You’ll need to work together, pay attention to details, and try to see the connections between the various pieces of information you gather along the way.

Work together—but keep an eye on each other
In a murder mystery, it’s not just about the group working together to find the killer. You’re also competing against each other.
Along the way, each participant gets a chance to guess who committed the murder. So it’s important to listen to the others, evaluate their explanations, and keep an eye out for anyone who might be trying to hide something.
You don’t have to wait until the end to point out a suspect. Your choices along the way matter, and the game tracks how often you identify the correct killer. The player who is best at figuring out the killer and most consistently identifies the right person may therefore end up as the game’s best investigator.
So work together to solve the murder—but remember that the other players are also competing to figure out who the murderer is before you do.
You’ll receive everything you need
The Murder Mystery is available in two editions.
Physical Edition
You will receive the game as a package shipped to the selected pickup location. There, you will find all the materials you need to play the game, gathered together and ready to use.
Print-It-Yourself
You’ll receive the materials by email and can print out what you need yourself. This is a flexible solution if you’d like to play the cards right after ordering or handle the printing yourself.
No matter which version you choose, parts of the game take place digitally. You’ll use your phone or tablet to access information, clues, roles, and various challenges along the way.
Two Different Types of Murder Mysteries
Sidewalk Mystery offers various types of murder mysteries.
In The Murder Mystery at Flanø Badehotel & Spa , all participants are assigned a role with their own background, knowledge, and secrets. One of the participants is the murderer, and the rest must try to figure out who is behind it. It’s not just about finding clues—you’ll also need to keep an eye on each other, ask the right questions, and figure out your fellow players.
In Cold Case Murder Mystery: Ski Trip with Death you’ll work as a team of investigators. Here, you’ll have access to case files, documents, and other evidence, which you’ll need to review together to uncover the truth. Along the way, you may encounter various challenges where you’ll need to analyze information, crack codes, and find new clues.
No matter the type, the goal is the same: Can you uncover the truth?
